Refurbished gives you the most value

I've seen reviews of buying Blast, not Megablast. I have a mega blast. This is an updated Revain so all you have to do is contact Amazon and they will get you the right speaker. Slightly fresh. This is for Megablast so you don't get scammed. If they send you the wrong one, just have them send you the right one. A few months ago I bought a lot of speakers. Bose Soundlink, Bose SoundTouch 10, Bose Solo 5, Sony SRS-XB41, Beats Pill+, Klipsch Groove Portable and Sonos PLay1, Ultimate Ears Megblast and Blast. I was blown away by the sound quality of the Ultimate Ears Megablast. I thought it was the best speaker ever EXCEPT the Sonos Play 1. The Sonos Play 1 although wired and the cords are a major annoyance for my wife. The Sony SRS-XB41 has slightly better bass, but it's not as crisp as the Megablast. I couldn't believe the Megablast sounded better than the Bose Solo 5 soundbar. All of this goes to show that I wanted a speaker that would fill my living room with quality sound. The Mega Blast won. I think the selling price of Megablast is high and not worth it. But it was a win for me to find it updated online through Revain for about $100. This is the best value for money in this price range. Here's what I like about Megablast: 1. Simple design2. The battery life (18 hours) is amazing and can be placed anywhere in the house WITHOUT WIRES. overall win.3. Bluetooth playback through your devices wherever you want to be (I've taken mine to the beach a few times) 4. Playback over Wi-Fi for even better sound quality and no crashes when someone calls your phone.5. Alexa is good at that. Picks up voice pretty well, but can also be turned off if you don't want your kids to say "Alexa!" all night 6. The app works well enough to change the equalizer if you want more basic or want more language options depending on what you're listening to. It's nice to listen to the radio instantly just by talking to the speaker7. Two speakers and you can set it to stereo or play up to 9 (I think) Blast and Megablast around the house to fill the room with music.8. These items are WATERPROOF! You can leave them outside even if it's raining to listen outside. (Actually, I think they should float, but I won't test it). Buying refurbished is definitely the right way and worth the money. I don't think they retail for $250, but I think a $100 upgrade is a steal. I love my Megablasts!
