I bought this reel to complete the installation of my latest camera. I already have cameras that work fine with another brand of cable. I chose this cable because it said BNC and that would have been the fastest, but big mistake! After running this 50ft cable all the way through my attic and plugging in the camera, it worked for a few minutes but with poor quality, then the camera shut down and never turned back on. I even added the power amplifier that came with my camera kit and still nothing. The wire in this cable has to be very thin, which is a problem especially on long trips when you don't have HD cameras. I'll be replacing them with the ones I have installed in my other cameras, I've used WildHD BNC and they work well, I even have a few 150ft long ones. Hope that helps
