Better than the regular basic V-neck. Other reviews said it might not be a snug fit so I took that and bought the size I normally wear for cotton shirts knowing they tend to shrink. It did a little bit, but not much. This is definitely not a slim fit if you get your normal size. But for those who don't want to look like they're wearing a little boys t-shirt, this is great. It's shaped like a modern shirt, so it's not square and the sleeves fit the arm properly. If you downsize for a slim fit, it may end up running too small. Maybe you want that meathead... JK. I recommend this to those who, like me, usually come up empty-handed in search of an elusive, modern-cut shirt.
