In all, it's a bargain. The need for ergonomics was overstated, in my opinion, because I don't use the cheapest vertical mouse. If someone else finds use for it, he's content. Benefits include: Nice shape, comfortable in the hand. The mouse is a standard European size (although it would be more convenient for me even more). Intuitive button pressing is evident. If your right hand becomes fatigued while working, try switching to your left. Integration with iMac is instantaneous. A few drawbacks: The cursor is choppy in several applications. As an illustration, consider the desktop Telegram client. This may be an application- or makosi-specific feature, but I didn't test it. Thus far, no more problems have been discovered.
