Review on πŸ“ Accurate and Reliable: Keson Housing Fiberglass Measuring Graduations by Fred Vazquez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Tape measure isn't as good as the old one

I've been using my newest 100ft Keson tape almost daily for 18 years. As an appraiser, I measured 2-3 houses every day. That's a lot of good before the last one wears out. I was very happy to see that Quezon still does the same roulette. My initial review was excellent and I can't change that. My updated rating gets one star. Lousy. This is an edit from 10/09/07. Unfortunately, the new tape did not match the quality of the old tape. The vinyl tape on the side of the case broke after two weeks on a new one. Then, about 2 weeks ago, the metal pin that guides the strap in and out of the case broke. Now, when I unwind or pull the tape, the so-called strong glass-reinforced tape breaks in 12- to 18-inch strips from the edge of the tape. Too bad they can't make them the way they used to be, the way they used to be. this new version of their old tape is not good.
