Review on Canon PowerShot SX610 HS Enabled by Nina Noble

Don't send this as a gift unless you're buying all the crap you need to make it work. Mine arrived without a memory card - the instructions say almost nothing about what/how/where to get it, just that it should be. Came without a USB cable so I still couldn't transfer photos to my computer as I don't have wifi but wired internet. The instructions on using Wi-Fi to transfer images are very complex, so it's just as good. You would think that for $200 the seller could at least make it usable when it arrives, or make it very clear that it won't and you need this, that, etc to get the thing working bring. I bought it because it was rated by consumer reports. Too bad they didn't rate it for all the necessary crap to hook up to it that it doesn't have. I can't say if it works or not, but I'll say it doesn't work because it doesn't work.
