Review on 🎧 HuddleCamHD HuddlePod Air Wireless USB Speakerphone - Black Edition by Amanda Johnston

Expensive but works

About 4 years ago I was looking for a speakerphone for a small conference room in my house. It had to be wireless and simple. Despite the price, I chose this little device and have never regretted it. So far the only complaint I have is the price. It's kinda cool, but it just works right out of the box, so it's worth it. As you can see, it uses an RF USB dongle that hangs on the computer, while the speakerphone can be either powered or fully wireless. Calls are as clear as you can get with a single speaker, and so far I've had no complaints of dropouts or other noise-cancelling issues that other speakers have. Another surprise is the battery life, even after all this time it's still pretty good. I just used it for a 6 hour interview at the satellite office and this speakerphone worked with no issues. I think the lack of a battery indicator might be an added downside. But other than that, it's a solid device. Pros: Long-lasting battery (currently 4 years) Good sound quality for hands-free calls No pairing or setup required. Just plug in a USB dongle and turn on the speakerphone. Acceptable range (tested up to 15 feet with no dropouts) Not so good: Price No battery meter.
