I ordered and returned several similar sneakers as I was looking for something understated yet stylish in wool sneakers so I was pleasantly surprised when they seemed to fit. . I usually wear an 8-1/2 in most regular shoes and a 9 in trainers. I ordered both sizes to try and found the 8-1/2 to be the best for me. I have a narrower foot but need the front width to accommodate the bursitis and add a 3/4 length orthotic (over the existing insole). These fit comfortably. The dark gray wool is attractive and paired with round laces. Comfortable heel loop with black tape. Slight orange tones on the tongue and heel are pretty minimal. I love the contrast of the white sole for a sportier look than black soles. The sole feels comfortable and does not slip on a slippery, dry surface. I haven't worn them outside yet because I bought them primarily as "indoor shoes". I wear athletic shoes for daily exercise. They are very light which is a plus. I've given them 4 stars as I haven't had a chance to see how they hold up over time but for now they seem like good value for the Revain price point.
