Ideal for storing CDs in a jewel case with titles visible on the spine. It is difficult to find a cheap box for this purpose. Custom-made products were too expensive. Two rows long with just enough spacing between rows to avoid shifting between rows. The space between the inner bottom flaps is filled with some extra cardboard to keep everything level, and the height spacing is the same - no big deal. The length is ideal for the top shelf of a standard wardrobe (doesn't protrude too much). The stack weight spec says 32 pounds. I don't know how much a box of CDs weighs. I'm only going to stack two heights now. Also includes just the right amount of albums so I can just take one box at a time and not get overwhelmed and bored for at least a few weeks. Hands down is the best option.
