I am a very tough critic and I rarely give out 5 stars cause nothing is perfect but this one is very close. This item is exactly what they say it is including the color and size. I am using it to carry my bible, a journal, a notepad, pens, highlighters, car keys, lip balm, breath mints, & business cards. My big thick ESV Study bible even fits in it; tightly but it fits. I am not going to carry that in this but its nice to know it fits.I love the canvas which it is made out of, its tough and sturdy. This bag has a lot of pockets and zippers and they all work. The price for this bag is a bargain in my opinion. The only thing that could make it just a little better is the shoulder strap does not come off. I wish it had clips to make it where you could take them off but NONE of the small messenger bags have that.If your looking for something to carry a bible, notepad, journal, and all the stuff you use in your quiet times this is what you need. I looked for Bible cases and none of them were big enough to carry all that stuff. This can do that and once I take the shoulder strap off it will look like a great, manly Bible case. 4.5 starts out of 5.
