The color quality on these cartridges was everything I could ask for. I was skeptical at first, I only used HP inks. After all, this is an HP printer, why risk an unknown brand? They even tell you not to do it! . It's like "USE OURS OR OTHERS" with popups warning you something is wrong / be careful. etc. The only thing wrong was the amount of $$$ I spent! My printer is 9-10 years old. The guarantee is gone. So what have I lost by trying a different brand? If it's the same part number as 61xl (and make sure you know your model number) it should fit! I like to copy family photos and maybe frame one or two. Don't be afraid to experiment with printer settings. If you don't like your picture, try a different setting. I used Canon glossy paper for this photo and even though it was easy it came out great! Save the dough and have fun! One more thing, the customer service at CSSSTAR is the best! Send them an email or simply contact Revain. Hope that helps!
