I really like these lamps. We mounted them on the wall next to our bed and they provide excellent lighting. I love the dimmer function! They use dimmable LED bulbs and I don't hear any buzzing or hissing when they're dimmed, even at minimum brightness (I'm very sensitive to electrical hum and noise and can't stand it). much more than i expected but i got used to it after a while. I liked them so much I bought a similar pair for our cabin but with smaller shades and just swapped them out. They provide good direct light meaning that when my husband had the lamp on on his side of the bed it didn't blind me when I was trying to sleep. I am very happy with these lamps! I was invited to leave a review as part of the early review program but was not invited to give 5 stars. I'm just glad I bought them.
