Review on ๐Ÿฑ THERMOS Stainless King 24oz Food Jar โ€“ Vacuum-Insulated, Matte Steel by Darryl Jennings

PLEASE READ WARNINGS - VERY IMPORTANT

I love this product. I bought stainless steel unpainted because the paint will peel off over time (hazardous to the environment). I also wash them on the top shelf of the dishwasher where the color will definitely come off (learned the hard way). But I've read the negative reviews and there are a few concerns that everyone should be aware of. I took the time to write the warnings that accompany each thermos on a small piece of paper in very small type to make it difficult to read. So I strongly recommend reading them here. It doesn't look like the thermos needs warning, but it certainly does. Here they are: DO NOT use the product in a microwave, stovetop or oven of any kind - NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE ON CHILDREN: Keep out of the reach of children, especially if the product contains hot contents that could burn the user. [Read Negative Reviews for More Info] - Always check the temperature of the contents before drinking. - DO NOT overfill the container: leave space at the top of the container for the lid and stopper (if present) to avoid overflowing. Hot content can burn or scald the user if overfilled. - Regularly check that a seal (flexible band around the lid and/or cork) is in place and properly positioned so that the contents do not leak throughout the lifespan when the lid is closed. A missing, worn, or misaligned seal can result in product leakage. Leaking hot contents can burn or scald user - In general, contents should not be left in container for more than 24 hours. However, the rate of content corruption depends on several factors. Certain ingredients such as dairy products and/or tomatoes can spoil earlier. Be careful when using a product with perishable contents. - If the contents remain in the jar for more than 24 hours, or if you suspect it has been damaged, use caution when opening the jar. Deterioration of the contents can lead to an increase in pressure in the container, which can cause the cork or contents to be ejected. In such circumstances, before attempting to open the container, ENSURE THAT OPENING IS DIRECTED BY THE USER OR OTHERS TO AVOID PERSONAL INJURY.- DO NOT use any tools or devices to force the container open.- If You cannot open the container manually, do not open it and do not dispose of it at your local collection point - DO NOT use for storing or transporting carbonated beverages or dry ice. This may result in the cap/cork and contents being pushed out or leaking. As for the last warning, I put the fizzy drink in a thermos. I couldn't get the lid off later. I left the thermos alone for a few days. Once the soda had evaporated, I was able to remove the lid. THERMOSE HAS NO CARBONATED SODA. I hope this prevents injury to other people.* The thermos is easy to clean IF you try to: - Do not buy colored/stained ones - Rinse the thermos immediately upon receipt. Home - Wash the unpainted/unpainted thermos in the top rack of the dishwasher
