I read from other users that the pump was leaking and thought they might have a bad unit. I ordered a pump and when I received it I was trying to inflate my road bike tires. As soon as I started pumping, I heard a hissing sound. I thought it might be coming from where the hose connects to the pump, but it was coming from the base of the gauge. The caliber itself is unique. It's plastic and that's it. When I discovered the leak I sent it back. I have also compared two other brands of piston pumps to this one and they all appear to be identical. I felt like they were built in the same factory by the same people. I could not inflate tires with this pump.
