For the money it's a worthwhile offer. As a seamstress I was disappointed when I saw the construction of the vest and bow tie - it was done quickly and they are not easily passed on to another child. The pants convinced with an additional protective layer on the inside. The shirt was nice and clean. I didn't know that a bow tie is sewn onto a shirt. All in all, the time I would take to do this myself was more valuable than the price of this set. This is a lovely set that I like to use for special occasions (Christmas, Easter etc) but I wouldn't use it for a formal occasion like a wedding. The pants felt a little long, but my son's size is smaller.
