Review on 💻 SEI Furniture Wall-Mountable Laptop Desk with Folding Design in Mahogany Finish by Jennifer Moore

I wanted to write a review because of a main problem: the smell of the paint. Boy this is bad. I bought this unit in January and it had a VERY strong smell of paint. I'm writing this review in May and it STILL smells like polish. I turn on the fans for several days at a time and intermittently. I put baking soda in it to try and absorb the smell but to no avail. When I open the door to the room he's in, you can't help but notice the smell of varnish, and it's giving me and the others in the room a headache. It's not uncommon for new furniture to have a varnish smell, but it usually fades after a week or two, but not in this machine. I have to leave the windows open to air the room and try to get rid of the smell. Aggravating. I don't recall seeing any reviews pointing out this issue so thought I'd warn those interested in this item. Aside from the smell, I like this device: it's well made, durable (very heavy!) and well designed. But the manufacturer should reconsider their painting process and products, because that is very bad.
