A big part of the attraction was the prize - $20 - my lucky break. I also liked the color

I used to have a three tier wooden jewelry box that didn't fit in any of my closets and was an eyesore on the dresser. I also found myself filling it with a ton of jewelry that I literally never wear (and had no intention of wearing anytime soon). So I researched obsessively and finally settled on this jewelry box. A big part of the attraction was the prize - $20 - my lucky break. I also liked the color and liked that it was flatter and easier to place in an eye-catching vignette on my vintage wooden dresser. The overall quality is pretty good for $20 - it's definitely fabric-covered cardstock, but the cardstock is thick and sturdy, and the fabric covers the box very nicely and nicely. The little metal pins on the lid are a nice touch - I didn't think I'd use them, but they really helped with my longer necklaces. All in all, I'm glad I chose this one. For a while I vacillated between pink, pink and blue. I wanted something in that dusty light pink that the internet is calling "Millennium Pink" these days, and I think pink was the best I could get from these options. It's actually a very nice color, but it's definitely not the color I was hoping for, but no problem, I like it anyway. Oh, it also comes with a key! Very exciting. I don't lock my jewelry box because I'll almost certainly lose the key and then have to rip it open to get my stuff back, but for those of you with the ability to keep track of tiny, rarely used items, you might be his selling point.
