Review on 💤 Joico Defy Damage Sleepover: Strengthen Bonds, Reduce Breakage with No Rinse Overnight Nourishing Treatment by Lisa Waites

I'm torn between 3 and 4 reviews for this product. I had high hopes for this product because by the second day my hair tends to be dry (rather than greasy) which makes dry shampoos useless for me. When I'm not washing I need some extra moisture and my hair is fine so it often gets tangled at night (despite sleeping on a silk pillowcase). This is a good product to use as part of my sleep ritual before the days I don't plan on washing my face. It leaves my hair soft and moist and it smells nice (not overpowering but fresh). However, when I woke up, I didn't notice much of a difference in my hair. It is still matted and I have yet to add additional moisture/oil to restore condition. My hair is better with it than without, but I was hoping for more improvement (especially with tangles). I'm not sure I would buy it again; I've been using it for a few weeks and my hair is pretty much the same. However, this is a good quality product and maybe better if your hair is not as dry as mine. For reference, my hair is curly/wavy, fine, dry and prone to tangles.
