I like that it's silicone not plastic. They were easy to put on and the glue seems to be holding very well. They also seem thick enough to absorb most of the impact. But the diameter bothers me. As apartment managers and housekeeping staff, we have used 6 inch plastic on all doors. This covered a large area to protect the wall. In most cases, the tread tore and broke before the doorknob went through the wall, which was easier to replace than repairing the drywall. They are slightly larger than the diameter of the door handle. Like all of us, you've got your hands full and you're pounding on the door with your foot. It can take a lot of strength to open the door. Door and push the protection through the wall. If it was more than 5"-6" it would be ideal.
