my last brush lasted about a year, i really thought the wood would give way, but this plastic has cracks and hair coming out. When using the brush I found I get these little itchy bumps afterwards. I think the broth they use digs into my skin or something. other than that it works quite well, the strap holds tight and gives good lather, isn't too hard but after a while they fall apart. I have a second one, it's cheap, but a few bucks, it's not worth it anymore. If it wasn't for the plastic and the bristles were wood - it would last a lot longer so I think it's just designed to fail.
