Review on Staedtler Learning Development 8880 C24A6 by Heather Shaw

I bought these colors from a local store but saw they didn't have a written review. I bought these as an upgrade from beginner paints at the store. I'm new to watercolor but have some experience with pencils. There is no lightfastness rating, but all colors are individually labeled to match those you'll find in professional kits. I have used colors both straight from the tube and after replicating them from the palette. In both cases, the pigments were vibrant, easy to control, and blended and dried well without leaving the chalky stains often found in store starter kits. If you plan to use them mainly dried I would fill pots rather than travel collapsible pallets. There was some chipping after getting wet. For beginners or those on a budget, this is great quality for journaling, urban sketching, scrapbooking, and more.
