If you have a pool less than 10 feet deep, don't have a diving board without one. Why? A person of average or large height could dive deep and break their head and neck on the bottom. Charles Krauthamer did this early in his adult life and spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Aside from the tragedy, they will also sue you. The insurance company has the right to rely on you according to safety regulations.
