I bought this for my fiance for Christmas. He bought a very good expensive name brand snowmobile helmet and was disappointed when his head was frozen on top from the cold air vent. His neck was also exposed to cold air and burned from the wind. I was a little wary of buying it because it's actually a lot cheaper than the others I looked at, but I went with it based on the reviews. I'm glad I did. he likes it! We live in Wisconsin where the winters are severe. So far he said he couldn't feel the wind on his head. He says it's very warm and completely covers his neck. And then the cold penetrated in some places. The material is really good. not super thin and breathable. Came with an extra piece for the face mask part. It's sewn really well. Very happy with the purchase, especially for the price! He said he would probably use it on his bike on cooler days too. I chose the one without a zipper.
