7 inches off the floor is the PERFECT size for a 31-32 " child!
I've seen all the reviews (on this and other versions of the chair) but none mentioned how far off the ground this chair was We have another toddler seat and it is too high for my daughter to sit in unaided. I wanted something she would use herself. BINGO. The seat itself is at knee height 7" off the ground. And she LOVES it .I'm sure everything will be fine even if she's a little bigger but now everything is perfect even at her size (high 17 months) I highly recommend!I'm a little bit sorry now that I'm still Bought a set which I guess was premature for them I am seriously considering adding the table that comes with this one and removing the other set for a while.
