This was the second round of Nalgene Grip 'n Gulp. We bought our first bottles 5 years ago. These have to be some of the most durable baby water bottles ever! They will definitely last longer than traditional leak proof cups and hold plenty of water for your little one. They hold up fairly well in car seat cup holders and a loop on the lid makes it easy for kids to carry around. Because of the wide base, they don't tip over easily. We got one when our daughter was very young and because we loved it we never tried another type or brand. One point of dissatisfaction that applies to the newbie is how difficult it is for children to suck out a drink when the stopper is in place. Sometimes I have a hard time pulling something out! So on all of our baby Nalgenes, I cut off a tiny bit of the pointed edge of the two connector flaps. This eases the effort required to drink while still maintaining adequate spill protection.
