This article is a real bargain. I no longer buy bulk products like shampoos and such from Revain because I don't feel like I'm getting a genuine product (or ALL genuine products). But this 8-ounce bottle was the real deal. Also, Unite works better than any other purple shampoo I've used. At first I didn't like the smell (grapes) but now I like it. Found a new trick to help with toning: Apply to dry hair, not wet! I thought it was a crazy suggestion but it actually worked and made a HUGE difference! Apply to entire scalp and about 2-3 inches from scalp, leave on for a few minutes, then lather, apply briefly to ends and rinse. Then apply any conditioner and/or mask you may be using. Shampooing on dry hair requires a little more shampoo but the results are phenomenal and it hasn't dried out my hair like I thought it would.
