I really wish these headphones would work. Excitedly, I opened my package, immediately snapped a series of selfies to send to all my friends, and then headed to the party on my PS4. They worked! The bass was amazing. The sound was crisp and clear. Footsteps were audible while playing Warzone, can you feel them? HOWEVER - The next time I used them, the mic didn't work. I was hesitant to give a negative review because my PS4 is pretty darn old and it could very well be a problem with my controller's audio port. Nevertheless, I continued to knit. I finally got around to deleting the port and ruling it out as a problem. THEN I FINALLY UNDERSTAND IT! The secret is in the MIC button! The microphone MUST be muted before connecting headphones. Once connected, turn on the microphone. I can't speak for other consoles, but the PS4 doesn't recognize the mic unless it's muted when headphones are plugged in. hp Interestingly, not turning on the microphone will result in the PS4 recognizing the microphone. Once you connect them with the microphone disabled, the PS4 will detect the microphone. I personally found it strange.tldr; Before connecting headphones to PS4, you need to turn off the microphone. They are cute and amazing with hella bass.
