First off, the Minky ironing board cover has one major advantage compared to most products available in the US, and that is that instead of a rope and crimp, you have a rubber band across the entire cover. Boards. and it's one piece, not the commonly found "pillow and cover". This reviewer originally ordered a standard size Minky cover but found it too small for an ironing board so measured the error before ordering again. The oversize says it fits ironing boards from 48" to 57" - the reviewer's ironing board size is 53" and the oversize is a bit "loose" on this board, but it will work. If you have a standard Minky board finish, this reviewer would recommend it Over the plus size as the elastic is a little "heavier" and the overall feel of the fabric is slightly better in the standard size than the plus size. But if you need to switch to a plus size, the cover is a good choice, according to the reviewer it outperforms most ironing boards available in the US market.
