Review on Ultra 1080P Monitor Sceptre E248W-1920R with 60Hz Refresh Rate, Flicker-Free Technology, and Tilt Adjustment by Solomon Douthwaite

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Best value for money in my rating

The price was right for this monitor and I like it. I have 2 laptops and need a second monitor for an extended desktop with my second laptop. I liked the design and the fact that it was rated for a 75Hz refresh rate. I have a more expensive 24" Lenovo monitor that I used on my first laptop and the image on the Lenovo is significantly better when compared side-by-side. black while the Zepter 24" is grey-black. I've swapped monitors from laptops and the picture quality is on par with Lenovo. Each monitor uses "default" presets on each monitor. So if getting the best picture quality is important achieve, maybe this Scepter is not the best choice. Scepter 24" has been set to a maximum resolution of 1980 x 1080 and Lenovo to 2048 x 1152. Another point is that all the buttons are on the back of the monitor. You can reach them from the front by putting your hand behind the screen from the bottom right. The power button is on the bottom, so it's pretty easy to find. However, the screen adjustment buttons are a little tricky to navigate, but doable.
