I bought the first pair 3 years ago. Before them, I bought non-slip shoes at Walmart for $30. Walmart shoes hurt my feet and knees so badly they just fell apart after about 6 months of use. I bought them every 6 months and then they fell apart causing severe pain in my legs. I work 40+ hours a week in a restaurant kitchen so I finally got fed up and bought my first pair of these Dansko shoes 3 years ago! They are so cute, they are not soft inside, they are very hard. I didn't like it at first because I was used to memory foam, which was nice and comfortable for up to a few hours of use. The firmness of Danskos really supports your arch and every other part of your foot. And after wearing them (a week?) they are so comfortable on your feet that you don't even want to take them off. I just got a pair of replacements for the ones I bought 3 years ago. They probably gave me about 10,000 hours of comfort. (40-60 hours per week for 3 years). They are literally just starting to wear out/break, so badly. They are GREAT for Food/Bev. I love them so much I tell everyone about them and everyone at work knows about my shoes lol. buy you! Such a quality product. The initial cost is cheaper than buying cheap, non-supportive shoes over and over again. Not to mention the leg injury. do yourself a favor and buy them. (Photos are my old 3 years later compared to new).
