Review on DEWENWILS Weatherproof Expandable Electrical Extension by Victor Correa

I bought this product for my playroom. I wanted to be able to turn off the entire game room with the remote control. Game consoles are notorious energy vampires. This product was rated for outdoor use and had a nice chunky cord that handled 15 amps easily, although my playroom maxes out at 3-5 amps. So this product should be superfluous. The problem is that it is sold as a remote control device but when I tried to use the remote control it didn't respond. I've tried reconnecting the remote using the instructions provided, but the box just doesn't recognize the remote.
