Key points: Daytime image quality is quite good, better than the competition. Image quality at night is inferior to other similarly priced cameras. The motor is EXTREMELY quiet, which is great when used as a baby or pet monitor. The app doesn't require intrusive permissions and you don't need to create a login, which is a big plus. But I'm sending the camera back because there are 3 issues, each of which is a showstopper for me: 1) The vertical range of motion is too small. I wanted to put it on a bookshelf but it doesn't swing low enough to see much of the room. A 1080p camera of the same price that I'm currently using can look much further down. 2) Wi-Fi is very weak. Works great near the router. But at 30ft it doesn't work in 3K and the resolution needs to be lowered. A 1080p camera of the same price that I'm currently using works reliably in the same spot. 3) The sound quality is very poor and the sound volume is too low to use. It looks like the app doesn't have the option to change the volume for either the microphone or the speaker. If you're not concerned about mobility, are near a router and don't use audio, this might work great for you.
