I started making videos and thankfully just got out of the 'beginner's mistakes' phase. I lost my sense of humor because of my amount of gaffes. Video! gaffes! TAKE? HAR! See? I've learned enough to even make jokes like this. Back to those blessed light bearers: I used 6500K daylight LEDs for video as everyone said. However none of the videos turned out the way I wanted them to and I also felt like I was going to have open heart surgery. My red hair also looked like I had a brown towel on my head. How now, brown towel? I've spent about 2.31 lives learning everything about white balance, angles, key lights, video editing, backgrounds and color theory ONLY to solve the "video hair color" problem. And yet, when I followed a hunch and bought it, all my problems were suddenly solved. In the video, my hair now looks like fire like it was originally intended. Also, I no longer feel like I have to undergo open-heart surgery. I will actually switch my bedroom and office lighting to it. If you have migraines this is the light you need. So now I have a box full of unused cool daylights, but I don't regret it, I've learned a lot more from my stubbornness and inefficiency than if I just tried it. warm lighting at the beginning. As Penn Gillette says, "The hard way is the easy way." Great learning experience, but I'm so thankful I found it. With the power of the Gray Skull, I'll never use cold light again!
