This egg cooker is awesome. As soon as it arrived (on time) I made two poached eggs, perfect. The leaflet that came with it didn't give any information on whether or not to use room temperature eggs, so I took two eggs straight out of the fridge and cooked two soft-boiled eggs (next day). They also came out perfect. That tells me two things: the water measuring cup is right on the mark, and it must be for cold eggs. The hard boiled eggs I cooked two days later were not overcooked and peeled easily. The advantage of this egg cooker is that it is very compact and easy to store. One feature that sets it apart from other cookers is the rack that runs down the center of the eggshell, making it very easy to remove boiled eggs from the cooker. The pillar is where the seventh egg goes into the other panels. If you are thinking of buying an egg cooker then this is what you need.
