Has a pretty boring default BIOS so you can set boot options quite easily. Comes with hardware to add a SATA drive to the machine. Installing pfsense was easy, dual network cards were recognized correctly. I was also able to get full gigabit speeds, so that shouldn't be a big issue here. The drive in the car is a Western Digital m.2 based SATA. However, the downsides are the documents, they come with the SATA hardware but with no documentation on how to disassemble it. There is a sticker on the top covering some of the screws. Judging by the construction of the case, you'd think the top pops out, but it's not underneath. It's actually on the bottom and you have to remove the legs to get to the screws which is a bit annoying but nice to have that as an option.
