Review on Merkur 3 Piece Double Safety Chrome Plated by Veronica Goodwin

This is a big improvement over the butterfly razor. This razor consists of 3 parts, the blades are difficult to change, but it's worth it. I was able to shave very close without hurting my skin. The razor has a good weight, I let the razor's weight work its magic. I've read other reviews saying this and didn't know what to think of the weight getting the job done. Coming from Feather's plastic butterfly razor, a good start but this Merkur is much better. I had a hard time paying that much for a razor but I'm glad I did. The short handle also took some getting used to, but by the end of my first shave I felt comfortable with everything about this razor.
