Review on Immerse in TV Bliss with Sony's MDR-RF912RK Wireless RF Headphones by Scott Pentapati

Having bought several Sony products I expected these headphones to make a good first impression. Imagine my disappointment when I plugged it into my TV - only 9ft away - and the audio was interrupted by constant hissing, loud popping and fading out. I've taken the transmitter to different locations, taken myself to different locations, changed the channel on the transmitter and headphone, disconnected and reconnected the cable from the headphone jack on the TV, but got no relief from the loud pops and pops. As a test, I plugged $15 wired headphones into my TV's headphone jack and got perfectly clear audio, so I know it's not a TV. Someone in the family threw away the packaging so I cannot return it. I think I'll eat the cost of it.
