Research your product before placing an order.

Buy these headphones for a friend. When I order something online, I always see what's available and what I might need. I noticed that the headset only comes with a 1/8" stereo jack plug, so I also ordered an adapter that is needed to connect to the TV. Unfortunately, another reviewer sent the headset back because it didn't fit These are amazing headphones, I can add that the adapter costs between $3 and $10 and arrives before the headset.

Wireless headphones save the psyche

These headphones save the psyche. I first bought these to wear when watching TV shows after my kid and roommate went to bed so they wouldn't be disturbed by the bass from my stereo. Then my kid started using them while watching YouTube videos (only a mom has so much patience for Minecraft videos). You're good for both of us. Sometimes the audio gets blurry, but it usually goes away in less than a minute. In terms of range, I've been known to walk out of the room and to the back of the house to…

A bit bulky. sound problems.

It's okay. Not good. I bought these to replace a set of wired headphones that I've been using for years. They're a little chunky, but after you put them on for a few minutes, they get a little more comfortable. I was a bit disappointed because they were SONY and I think I expected more. They make noises every few minutes as if the connection is bad. It's just a clicking sound. It's random, but it happens every minute or so. I get up early and watch the news every morning until nobody gets up. I

The best part is that you have to buy multiple adapters all the time.

I had an earlier version of this and was told it was a product upgrade so I bought this newer model. I had to buy an audio adapter for the previous pair, but didn't want to buy a completely different adapter for the new ones. The best part is that I always have to buy multiple Sony headphone adapters when I have a Sony TV. Unless Sony develops a groundbreaking feature for a future product, it will be very difficult for me to buy anything else from them. Many other companies provide multiple…

Sounds short

Having bought several Sony products I expected these headphones to make a good first impression. Imagine my disappointment when I plugged it into my TV - only 9ft away - and the audio was interrupted by constant hissing, loud popping and fading out. I've taken the transmitter to different locations, taken myself to different locations, changed the channel on the transmitter and headphone, disconnected and reconnected the cable from the headphone jack on the TV, but got no relief from the loud…

  • Very expensive

I've been hesitant to buy this for a long time. Do you have an older 985? And they're fine too, except the plastic coating is peeling off. They are better designed and don't peel off. Our home is awash with wireless signals and fluorescent lights, so I don't have a pristine, noise-free environment. Try to use them within a 25ft radius so there is no problem. Sound quality is important to me and they are really good. In fact, the price dropped to $46 and I got three sets. We often pair two…

They work great for single-sided deafness!

I am deaf in one ear, so I can't understand the words on TV very well. I've tried 4 or 5 different settings including the ones you put in your ears and headphones from other manufacturers. I found them to be the most suitable for my needs. They last a long time on a single charge. They simply plug into the charger located next to the TV. They are very comfortable, allowing me to wear them for hours without pinching my ears. The volume is easily adjustable. I can turn off the TV or let my wife…
