These headphones save the psyche. I first bought these to wear when watching TV shows after my kid and roommate went to bed so they wouldn't be disturbed by the bass from my stereo. Then my kid started using them while watching YouTube videos (only a mom has so much patience for Minecraft videos). You're good for both of us. Sometimes the audio gets blurry, but it usually goes away in less than a minute. In terms of range, I've been known to walk out of the room and to the back of the house to put them on and the sound remains clear. .
