Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Ibera Bike Commuter Trunk Bag - Quick Release Clip-On Design with Detachable Shoulder Strap by Jason Robinson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost perfect for sport

well designed and mostly durable. The luggage rack can be easily and securely attached to the bicycle seat post. Don't forget to put some lubricant (petroleum jelly will do) on the threads of the bolt that attaches the post to the seatpost, otherwise you will find that the bolt will rust and break if you need to remove or adjust the post in the future . PROS: * Great design. The clasp that attaches the bag to the rack is great! Multiple zipped compartments of different sizes make it easy to sort keys, money, bike parts, etc. Reflective material on the sides and back of the bag increases safety and improves night-time visibility.* Good value for money. While it doesn't come cheap, it will pay for itself over time with innovative design and quality materials and craftsmanship.* Looks. It is perceived as a high quality bike accessory with a well thought out design.* Health. If, like me, you spend a lot of time sitting down and have started using a student backpack to carry your bike, then do yourself a favor and replace the backpack with a suitcase/pannier. Protect your healthy spine, you will miss it. CONS: * Rear strap. Although the shoulder strap is comfortable, you'll likely find that the inconvenience of attaching and removing it from your bag limits its use in specific situations. Most of the time I carry my bag by the strap on the back of the bag. THIS IS A MISTAKE! If you use this tape, it will break over time. Exposure to sun and rain combined with the stress of the weight of your load can cause damage and tearing of the strap seams. In this case, not only will you lose grip of the strap, but you will also lose the reflective material on the back.* Customer Service. The back strap broke after 11 months of use. Ibera customer service was unavailable for warranty claims, but Revain's exceptional customer service filled the gap (i.e. replaced the bag). SUMMARY The Ibera PakRak is a great value under $75. Buy it from Revain and don't use a bracelet.
