Works as it should, but fragile

I use it quite often for GoPro. Its main purpose is to slow down the GoPro's shutter to give the video a different feel, closer to a real camcorder. They do, although nothing can replace a real, professional-quality camcorder. The GoPro is so comfortable and easy to carry with so many accessories that I use it for my vlogs all the time, but I digress. I used an ND 32 to photograph a waterfall at 2:00pm on a clear day in Colorado at 7,000ft, definitely in very intense sunlight. ND32 enabled actual motion blur in the water despite the extremely bright light. I'm uploading a raw video without color correction. I didn't get the video without ND, but you can still see the motion blur quite well. They fit the GoPro Hero5 Black lens perfectly and are pretty secure so you don't have to worry about them falling off. My only concern is that they are very brittle as the MD32 cracked after the first and only use and I don't know how that happened. I've since used all the others with no issues, so who knows what happened to the ND32. I wouldn't exactly use this for skiing, mountain biking, or any other sport, but motorsports, hiking, and the like would be fine.

Pros
  • Too light for zero effect on the gimbal only 4 grams
Cons
  • boring packaging
