After trying the gel I definitely noticed that while it lasts it hardly builds up. If you have a sensitive nose, the smell may be too strong for you. As soon as I enter the bathroom, the smell of artificial lavender cleaner envelops me, even with the toilet seat closed. It doesn't bother me too much, but it's not for everyone. I have enough gel for about a week plus or minus 1-2 days. I use the bath about 5-7 times a day, trying not to get the gel too close to the holes in the rim so the water doesn't put too much pressure on it. Also, don't put it too close to the water in the toilet to avoid objects falling on it, as it's a liquid gel rather than a solid and objects can get stuck in or on it. When using it, hold the button down and ONLY slide the tube around one buttonhole. TLDR: -1 star because the smell can be too strong and the application is not the most intuitive, allowing you to use a whole tube of gel at a time instead of 1 serving. In addition, the gel works for a week and does a good job of preventing accumulation.
