I bought this for college as a laptop replacement to use in class to type notes and open powerpoint slides and use onenote. I have never used the product for this because after using it I quickly realized how incapable the device is for simple tasks like charging. It sounds crazy, but I'll be honest: the device didn't charge more than half the time I plugged it in. I thought it was a defect or something, but found out on the internet that this is typical for the device. I had to try 5 maybe 10 times to charge it. But it wouldn't make much of a difference because the battery life is terrible. Even in standby mode no longer than 1.5 hours. It refused to connect to a Wi-Fi, and the common bugs that came with it made it so uncomfortable to work with that I worked less on the Surface 3 than on my phone. The only good thing about it is its portability, but it worked so poorly that I didn't want to take it anywhere. Seriously save your money and don't buy this.
