Does what it says on the tin. the angle at which the SATA/power connectors should bend. To get the drive out, I had to stick a paper clip through one of the mounting screw holes to slide the drive out of its case and grab it, which in turn bends the SATA connectors. I would recommend putting a tape or something on your drive so you can get hold of it. It is also not recommended to insert and remove the drive from the container too many times, as you may damage the SATA connectors and render the drive unusable. I have a Lenovo OEM caddy on my old T61p and it has a small plastic piece that flips out so you can insert a drive without bending the connectors and then snaps back in place to secure the drive once installed. This car doesn't have an access light, or maybe the light doesn't work on mine, but people still complain about the brightness/color of these lights.
