It was very frustrating trying to fit this stand to my laptop. The screws could not be removed with the included hex key, which is made of weak metal and is easy to remove. The screws were incredibly tight, so much so that they deformed the grooves on the stand (see photo after I finally loosened them). I had to go to the garage and get my best set of allen keys, which made the job a little easier. Even after I loosened the bolts, the block still couldn't be adjusted because the metal at the base had warped from over tightening. I had to completely remove the bolts, adjust the sliding parts, and then reattach the bolts. I recommend the manufacturer widen the slots a bit and talk to the bodybuilder who is putting the bolts in and ask them to loosen them a bit. When I put it back together it worked great and looked beautiful.
