Love this product. Would buy again. I have two problems with this: 1) the power supply needs to be switched, but the instructions say it needs to be connected to a constant power supply, and 2) the remote output has a two second delay before it turns on after the end of the Songs or you turns off the music on pause. If you use it to turn amps on and off, they'll be turning on and off CONSTANTLY, and not only can this wear out your expensive gear, but many audio systems with external amps make an audible click when the amps are turned on. and it would be very uncomfortable to listen to after each song. The reason you don't want to connect the power cord to 12V DC is because your battery powers this device when you're not in the car and your phone stays connected to the device when you're at home huh is annoying and can force you to switch to home devices manually. I've had cheaper and smaller Bluetooth devices. I was very happy about it. The power consumption of the device is very low. 15mA after initial power up when detected via Bluetooth. 10mA after pairing. 33 mA during audio playback. 3 mA during pause or after shutdown.
