Being paralyzed on my left side for 27 years has its problems. My left foot rotates inward due to limited ankle control. I've always worn shoe wraps, but the hard plastic hurt my leg, ankle and foot. I ordered this champion brace to prevent the plastic brace from touching the ankle. To my surprise, these braces work so well that I dropped the plastic brace. I work in the garden, I drive the herbivore through the ditches and so far there have been no problems. I really had to get used to walking normally again instead of rocking the brace. This little trinket allows my ankle to bend without letting it bend inward. It works with all my shoes and is easy to clean. Thank you Revane for taking another step back to normality.
