I followed directions too closely and left tie-dye shirts in bags for 12 hours before rinsing. I think they came out really nice but wish the color was lighter. I'm not sure if it was something I did or didn't do, or the product itself. There was nothing I could do to follow the instructions more closely. We made about a dozen shirts and each one came out unique and individual in design and color. The kids made t-shirts out of my pictures and none of them turned brown or dirty. Each of them turned out great and had an individual character. My grandmother's shirt was voted best (she is pictured in a wheelchair). I would buy and use this product again and again. The ease of use and cleaning was so easy. Check out my attached photos to see what exactly comes with this order. Each colored bottle is pre-filled with powder (and you just add water and shake). And then comes an additional pack of each color. Ordered more tires. Depending on your design, this pack may not be enough.
