They are very well finished. You can feel that this is a high-quality product. The ear pads are very comfortable and fit my headphones (ATH-M50xBT) perfectly. Note that they are larger than the original pads in all sizes, but that doesn't change anything (perhaps the footprint is a bit larger when folded). Now for the cons... Unfortunately, they change the sound signature of the headphones a lot, and that's the biggest problem with them for me. I love them when I wear them, but I really hate them for hearing them change their sound. The middle frequencies are destroyed (attenuated and sent back to the "second row"). The highs are less detailed and sound cheap. The clarity is gone. The sound stage is significantly smaller. Cheap bass is everywhere and covers everything else. There's just a lot more bass, and the bass is louder (it's not deep, punchy bass). I love the cleanliness, balanced sound, rich punchy bass and all the detail that the M50x has with the original pads. In general, these pads turned my M50x into cheap nameless headphones. After an hour I've had enough and throw the new pads in the trash. Do not get me wrong. The build quality and materials are great, but I bought these because the original pads weren't comfortable enough for me. So I think it will be the same (or almost the same) sound signature with more padding on top, but it's not. I don't recommend them if you're in love with the original sound of your headphones.
