I bought this item for my daughter's wardrobe. She is 5 years old and loves to dress herself. Except that she can't reach the clothes hanging in her closet, which causes some trouble (for both parties) because she has to undress during the day. For that purpose, this is really a great article! The lowest setting is too low for her, which is ideal for those who want to wear trousers and items on the top shelf and shorter items on the bottom shelf. I love the versatility and am considering buying one for my closet (to expand its capacity). My reasons for docking 1 star are as follows: 1) There is no "handle" on the hanger. This allows the bars to slide up. Which is annoying because it tries to align the bars evenly. Some sort of grip added at the top will fix this easily. 2) The horizontal bar consists of two parts connected in the middle with a "pop-up button" (don't know what it's called). Because the button protrudes, you can only slide the clothing to the middle of the bar and back, which is frustrating when trying to go over the clothing. Really it does the job and overall I'm happy with it and my daughter loves it! I often notice how she "organizes" her clothes, plus she can hang them up herself! Great thing, but not perfect yet. :)
